Royal Purple Rumble Tournament
Nitto 1320 Legends is proud to present the first ever, Royal Purple Rumble tournament. Every Friday in March 2009, racers from around the world will compete for pride, “props” and the grand prize of a one-of-a-kind virtual Royal Purple 350Z drag car in Nitto 1320 Legends. Only one Royal Purple 350Z drag car will be available.
Royal Purple Performance Tournaments
In preparation for the Royal Purple Rumble tournament, we are holding "Performance Tournaments" where you can get a Royal Purple graphics pack for your virtual car. All you need to do is qualify for the tournament.
Royal Purple Performance tournaments will be held every Mon-Thurs at 1:20PM EST during the month of March. Racers are allowed to enter multiple cars. To enter the Performance tournaments, you must have the Royal Purple synthetic lubricant package added to your car.
Royal Purple Rumble
The Royal Purple Rumble tournaments will run Fridays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2009. The event will feature 16 different tournaments (4 tournaments per Fridays) with different vehicle requirements and alternating between Bracket and H2H.
Racers are permitted to tune and setup multiple virtual cars to have the best chance at winning the grand prize. Competing in the Royal Purple Rumble will be on a first come, first serve basis – so make sure you’re logged-in and ready to go!
The tournament will be based on the following points system:
- 1 point: Qualify for one of the Friday Royal Purple Rumble tournaments
- 3 points: Win each round of a tournament
- 10 points: Win the finals of each tournament
Maximum points a racer can earn in one tournament is twenty six points. The Racer with the most points by the end of all Royal Purple Rumble tournaments on March 27th, 2009 will become the champion. A Royal Purple Rumble tournament leaderboard will be available for all racers at nittolegends.com.
Requirements for Royal Purple Rumble
- A Royal Purple Performance graphics package
- All cars must have the Royal Purple synthetic lubricant package
- You must complete the Royal Purple survey
If you were unable to receive a Royal Purple Performance graphics package during the Royal Purple Performance tournaments, a different Royal Purple Performance graphics package will be available for purchase (and is valid to compete in Royal Purple Rumble Friday tournaments) for $1,000 virtual dollars in the Toreno part shop.
