Nitto 1320 Legends Mod Election update
Racers,
The moderator election is coming up soon and we have the final details for you.
We have made some minor adjustments to the moderator election system in order to ensure the integrity of the game moderation with this new process. The administrators will select 10 of the current moderators to become Senior Moderators. These Senior Moderators will provide the experience necessary to ensure normalcy during the assignment of new staff. This will change the election to only appoint 10 new moderators instead of the initially proposed 20. The bottom 10 that have been bumped out from this adjustment will become guides.
We are confident that our selection of Senior Moderators along with the election of new moderators by the people will be a big step forward in our commitment to making the game a safer, more enjoyable place.
Overview:
The moderator election system is a new feature to give the community the power to choose their moderators. The players have always been the number one source of feedback and information regarding the state of the community. This will help the community take that premise to the next level.
Moderator Office Term:
The Moderator term of service will be three months. At the end of the three month period moderators will be removed unless they have been reelected. There is no limit to how many terms a moderator can serve in a row. If a moderator was not reelected they will still be eligible to run again on the next election.
Nominee eligibility requirements:
Nominees must:
· Be a 1320 member - membership must be kept current while "in office".
· Never been "de-moded" in the past for misconduct.*
We will ignore past de-mods for this first election in order to give more players a chance.
Nominator eligibility requirements:
Nominators must:
· Be a 1320 member
Nominations:
Nominations will be a week long process.
You can only nominate up to THREE players. ( players must be eligible to be a moderator )
You cannot nominate yourself.
The top 50 players with the most nominations will be chosen to move on.
Once nominated, players will have a special "mod nominee color" text to distinguish them in the chat rooms as players running for office. They will keep this special text color throughout the election process until they are eliminated from it. Moderators that are nominated will keep their blue mod text color during this process.
