Default How to properly post your Classified Ad !

First off, most of us know that people like to get as much detail as they can without going out to look for it themselves.

I know for the old V1 forum we had a good way of how to efficiently post Classified Ads so I thought I would share it with all of you so you can hopefully increase your chances of making your investment.

How to Post a Selling Classified Ad

When it comes to Selling a Car the best thing to do is list basic details about your car so others can have a little information on what they're buying. This usually helps your chances of selling your car(s) rise. Below is a sample of what a Basic Selling Detail list would look like.

Car Make & Model: 1995 Mazda Rx7 Premium
Price: 79,000 O.B.O(Or Best Offer)
Engine Type: Turbocharger
Horsepower/Torque (max): 1017.45 HP/1047.74 ft/lbs
Listing ID: 920290
Damage: None Incurred.

Listing Status: expires May 13th, 2008 11:26 am.

Additional Information:
The car includes 6.9 tested ratios.
Very consistent. Must go !

A post like this covers the basic details of your car, and the Additional Information lets you put your input on the car for the the Buyer to read about.

How to Post a Buying Classified Ad

Now last but not least.. Buying.
When it comes to posting a "Buying" Classified Ad it is good to include some detail about what you're looking for. EXACT detail won't bring too much attention, but by giving a few details on what you want will most likely narrow down your options so you can find the right car ! Below is a sample of what a Basic Buying Detail list would look like.

Car Make & Model: 2006 Dodge Viper
Price: Between 70 - 120 k
H2H or BK: H2H
Engine Type: Turbocharger
Modded or N/A: Fully Modded
Graphics or No Graphics: Graphics preferably.
Damage: None Preferably.

Additional Information: I would like to first see the car run so I know it is fast.

NOTE: You do not necessarily need to copy my Examples exactly, but a brief detail like this will be a great help.

Good luck and Happy Buying/Selling !
