Default How to use the UCL and be safe while doing so!

If you are reading this you must be new to the game, welcome to Nitto Legends. This is a great game to be part of and you will have hours of enjoyment while playing this game. The admins of this game have done alot of work to try and make this game as enjoyable as possible and as safe as possible. But with every game out there, there are always people trying to take advantage of those who are less educated on the workings of the games they play. One of the features of this game is the Used Car Lot. Using this feature you are guaranteed to never be scammed, if you use it properly. In this post I'm going to try my best to educate you, the racer on how to use the UCL and be safe while doing so. Enjoy

The UCL
The UCL was first introduced in on the 1320 Challenge and was brought onto Version 2 to try and help curve alot of the scamming that was happening in the early stages of this game. The UCL is easy to find on the home screen of the game as it is located in the bottom left hand quarter of the screen, as with all the locations on the game map a simple click and it takes you straight there.

The UCL Main screen
At the main screen of the UCL you will see alot of information, don't be alarmed your in the right place. The following is a run over of all the options that this screen provides.

The Basics of the UCL main screen

Car/Engine Drop Downs
The first thing you will notice is that in the middle of all the confusion there are two drop down menus, Car and Engine.

The Car menu allows you to specify what specific car you are looking for.

The engine menu allows you to specify what kind of motor build you are searching for.

Under the drop downs you will see the vehicle listings, inside of here it will show all the vehicles you were searching for.

Listing Search
Off to the right of the vehicle listing is a small box that contains an open field in which you can search for vehicle ids. These ids are the listing numbers of the vehicles that are being sold. So when someone tells you

The id number is the number that would go in this box.

Vehicle View Screen
Once you have either selected from the vehicle listing or searched with the id for the vehicle you were looking for, a new screen will appear. This is the vehicle view screen, at this screen you can see the actually car you are looking at.

Using this screen you can see the parts that the vehicle has on it and also what kind of trades the user is accepting.
This is a view of what the parts listing looks like

Vehicle Purchasing Screen
When you reach this screen you are one step away from being the proud owner of a used car! This screen will make sure that this is the car you want and give you a final view of the vehicle you are about to purchase.

The Basics of Selling a vehicle on the UCL

UCL Sell tab

At the top of the UCL main screen you will see a tab that says Sell/Trade, using this tab will take you to the selling main screen section of the UCL.

UCL Selling main screen

This is the main screen for selling on the Used Car Lot. Using this screen you can post any of your cars up for purchase. As with the Buying main screen there is a lot of stuff to take in and we will go over over each aspect of this section.

My listings

The first thing you will notice is the "My Listings", section. In this section it will show you the vehicle that you have sold via the UCL. You can go back and see what happened to a car that you may have forgotten that you had sold or for how much you sold that vehicle.

Trades listings

This contains listings of any trades that you may have sent out. When using this section you need to be extremely careful when sending out a trade to other users.

Using this section you can click the "Make a trade offer" button to offer a trade to other users on their vehicles on the UCL. When doing this you will be asked to provide your vehicle id that you are offering for trade as well as the password for the car you are offering.

WARNING

When offering a vehicle for trade it is VERY important to be sure to add a price to that vehicle! If you don't have a price on it you are in essence giving someone that ability to buy that car at 0$. Be sure to add a price to a vehicle that you are trading as no mod or other staff member can get your car back once it has been scammed.

Posting a car for sale

This is one of the hardest things you will have to do on the game, parting with a vehicle that you built from nothing! Thanks to the admins that whipped up the UCL it couldn't be easier. All you have to do is click the "Post a car for sale button" and you are on your way.

The first thing you do after hitting the Sale Button is select the vehicle that you are wanting to get rid of.

After that the Post a car for sale screen will appear, as I stated before it is very important that you are 100% of what you are putting on this screen. When you are putting a price be sure that if it is going to be a private trade, that you put a cost on the vehicle you are trading. If you don't they can and will get your car for 0$.

On this screen you can also decide wether you want a private or public listing and wether or not you will be accepting trades.

If you decide to make it a private listing, be sure your password is NOT EASY. Using someones screen name or something simply like carforsale will be easily guessed by other users. There are people who sit there all day and just try to guess passwords of cars that are being sold on the UCL.

Once your car is posted for sale you will wind up back at the main for sale screen and you can see where your vehicle is posted and see what other people see when they are viewing your car.

Trades

Accepting a trade
One of the coolest features of the UCL is the ability to send and recieves trade requests on the vehicles you are selling or looking at buying.
When someone has sent you a trade request from the main sale screen you will view your vehicle that is for sale and on the left of the vehicle listing there is a "trade request" button.

When you click that it will open a second screen that will show you the vehicle that is being offered for your car.

As you can see with both entered values for our cars even though this is a trade. This is the safest way to use the UCL when doing a trade.

The End

I really hope this helps some people and prevents some scamming from happening. I took the time to do this so I hope users take the time to read this.
