Hello fellow nitto players,
I have made this guide because alot of my friends have asked me how do i make my own brkt setups and I say simple but I didnt have this guide to hand as lost the original one I made, so I decided to remake it post it up for everyone to see was probably gonna be easier than telling like 6 or more friends these steps over and over again.I did get some input from Xtremedarkness as he remembered some of the points i may had forgotten. I also made this guide so that new nitto players who cant afford high end expensive brkt setups can still get a brkt car that runs good and is tuned to their pc. I hope that this helps out ppl and i hope to see u in the future on the drag strip in game. how to make a cheap brkt setup step one: choose the car that u want to setup for bracket step two: part1: check redline of the car using practice track part2: check if there is any engine swaps but this is for all cars so u dont have to have engine swap in the car step three: choose either laces or 20 inch points rims or rims that hold revs to 5k step four: buy drag slicks u can use 555r tires but i find slicks easier step five: part 1:goto parts shop and buy the formuline air fuel controller part 2: only get boost controller if u plan to have stock turbo or supercharger attached part 3: only get headers if u have a stock turboed car and u want to make it naturally aspirated step six: goto gearbox section in parts shop and start with 2.500 first and final step 7: if u can afford to get a body kit for the car step 8: goto dyno n run the dyno at last red dot step 9: go back to practice track to see if the car launches (if redline is like 6k on vehicle then hold revs at 4.5k otherwise full rev) step 10: take a note of the time ran step 11: start to make slight modifications to the ratios by raisin the final drive number then test again step 12: start with small mods like low compression pistons and maybe air filter then test again in practice track step13: if u prefer to run fluids add fluids and radiator but most my car dont use em step 14: hit practice track again if it running faster than what u want it to run try modifying the ratios or taking a fluid part out (if u have fluids) step 15: hit the PT again after u have completed step 14 and if u are happy with the time then run PT 5 times to make sure u have dial in step 16: either ask a buddy or race ppl u know u can beat as a test live or if u dont want to do that hit 24/7 tournaments step 17 : if everything goes to plan u should have a pretty decent setup made for next to nothing and u can go live and start racing ppl in brkt step 18: if u want to paint ur car or put graphics on it then its ur choice note i use this method on all my cars because i dont run an intel pc like most nitto plus this method has worked on all pc bases. The vehicle i based this on was a k24 Type-r. Last edited by gareth : 06-22-2012 at 05:31 AM. |

Extremely poor quality. A+ for idea/concept. F- for execution.
