Alyssa...Demoted?

Greetings Racers,

As we all know, the 2013 staff selections were announced this past Wednesday. There were some good picks and there was some bad picks. Some picks stood out amongst the crowd, due to positive or negative reactions.One staff member caught the eye of many.

Alyssa, formerly MADJ Alyssa, was a Moderator for Nitto 1320 Legends before the staff selections were made. Now, she is a Guide. I speak for many when I say that Alyssa being demoted is a reason to be upset with these most recent selections.

I had the opportunity to drop by with Alyssa and ask her a few simple and short questions.

speedjunkie05: How are you today?

Alyssa: I'm alright Billy, had a long day of classes. How are you?

speedjunkie05: I had a morning filled with classes as well. So let's get straight to the good stuff. As everyone knows, the new 2013 staff members were announced on February 27, 2013. What were your initial thoughts?

Alyssa: I was shocked, and mainly unhappy. Not only did I lose my spot but so did a few others. There were a few people on the list that I think will be good for the staff team. I still think the Guide position should be used for people that have never been apart of the staff team.

speedjunkie05: Let's hold off on yourself for a bit. I want to know something. When you say, "Not only did I lose my spot but so did a few others." Who are you referring too?

Alyssa: I'm referring to Gabe [sqwrly], and Duzzle [DUZZLE1], who dropped to Guide... Aswell as my team mate, hthmoney who was an active Guide.

speedjunkie05: I see. There is a lot of debate over some of the staff picks. Some of them bug cars, some of them bugged money, some of them sell cash, etc. What are your thoughts on this?

Alyssa: It will always be a he said, she said type of thing unless it was seen. I do believe some of the things that have been said. I don't agree with those type of people being part of the staff team. Staff are supposed to set an example for the community. A good example, not one like that.

speedjunkie05: I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. Moving on to the hot topic....you. What was your reaction to being a Guide?

Alyssa: OH SIZZLING HOT! My reaction, I won't lie, was terrible. I was, and still am upset about my position. It'll take time for me to get used to, but after 2 years of being a Moderator, I'm not sure I will get used to being Guide again.

speedjunkie05: I know that I speak for quite a few people when I say that you being demoted is a disgrace. What do you have to say to all of your supporters?

Alyssa: I thank my supporters, and those who calmed me down when I was mad. You guys are the best. I will try to bounce back from this! Also, much love to you guys, I'll make you cookies!

speedjunkie05: Awesome. Alyssa, I wish you the best of luck with your new position. Even though you're a Guide, you are easily one of the most respected staff members.

Alyssa: Thank you sir!

I'd like to thank Alyssa not only for the time that she took to answer these questions for me, but the time and effort that she has put into the game for years. It truly is a shame to see a great Moderator be stripped of her title.

I voted to make her a mod again. I feel my team leader Duzzle1 should also be reinstated.

Alyssa, i know u and i dont talk much or we are not close of friends than we should be on this game, but i dont think u deserved to be demodded at all, and i hope that admin get their decision making in check and re-mod u back to mod. im sorry that it happen to u and many others that didnt deserve to lose their mod to. i wish u the best and keep ur head up girl and dont let this get to u. ull get it back!! ^_^....
